Our history

From 2001 to one Finaltis: twenty-five years at a glance.

Finaltis did not create most of the funds it manages: it took over their management, one after another. The thread below follows the years in which the firm reached a milestone; beneath each fund name is the year that fund itself was created.

  1. 2001

    Founding of Finaltis

An independent investment adviser, Finaltis incubated 14 asset management companies in Europe and the US between 2001 and 2014.

  2. 2003

Management company authorised by the AMF

Finaltis developed institutional mandates and funds dedicated to absolute return, notably in futures markets.

  3. 2005

    Development of quantitative strategies

Finaltis extended its absolute-return offering to equities and derivatives, with its own investment management and risk control models.

  4. 2008

    Resilience during the financial crisis

During the global crisis triggered by subprime lending, no Finaltis fund or mandate experienced liquidity difficulties. Finaltis’ absolute-return funds ended the year significantly higher.

  5. 2010

    Launch of the UCITS range

Absolute-return strategies opened up to a wider client base. Despite positive performance, they would not meet with the expected enthusiasm.

  6. 2013

    Launch of Finaltis EfficientBeta Euro

The product of the Finaltis teams’ quantitative engineering, this PEA-eligible FCP under French law offers a minimum-variance portfolio of euro zone equities with lower volatility.

  7. 2014

    A new stage of growth

Finaltis sold its long-standing stakes and refocused on thematic strategies and active allocation in equities.

  8. 2015

    Launch of Finaltis Titans

The range’s first fund under active discretionary management, this FCP under French law reflects the core of Finaltis’ know-how in equity investment in large global companies with resilient growth.

  9. 2016

Finaltis Digital Leaders injects “digital hypergrowth” into the range

The first sub-fund of the Luxembourg SICAV Finaltis Funds, this portfolio brings together Finaltis’ selection of large-cap leaders of global digital transformation.

  10. 2017

    “Triple A” discretionary management

Finaltis began offering its Active Allocations in Equities (AAA) mandate service to the clients of wealth professionals.

  11. 2021

Finaltis Gold brings gold and precious metals into the range

The Finaltis Funds SICAV added a sub-fund investing in gold (and other precious metal) mining stocks using a selective approach, both financial and non-financial, aimed at minimising the incidence of adverse events.

  12. 2022

Cyril Systematic diversifies the range towards high-potential markets

On 1 February 2022 Finaltis became the management company of this FCP under French law, whose management would be thoroughly overhauled from September 2025 to better meet diversification needs through quantitative exposure to so-called “peripheral” equity markets with strong potential: US small caps, the Brazilian, Chinese and Indian markets…

  13. 2022

Finaltis Europe Selection rounds out the PEA-eligible range

This sub-fund of the Luxembourg SICAV Finaltis Funds selects European large caps geared towards global growth.

  14. 2025

  15. 2026

    Kirao joins Finaltis

The Kirao mandate management teams brought their expertise in macroeconomic analysis and the allocation of diversified portfolios.

  16. Today
