Flexible allocation across equities, bonds and cash, steered to cushion market cycles.
Performance
Rebased to 100 at 31/12/2011. Net of management fees.
Investment objective
This UCITS is managed actively and on a discretionary basis. Its management objective is to seek an annualised performance, net of management fees, of more than 5% for the AC unit over the recommended investment horizon. This strategy, in which the manager has latitude over asset allocation, does not require a benchmark; performance may nonetheless be compared, after the fact, with a comparison indicator made up of 50% of the MSCI AC World index (dividends reinvested) and 50% of the capitalised €STR.
How we select
Asset allocation starts from a global macroeconomic analysis and the relative assessment of equity, bond and convertible markets, before selecting direct holdings or funds (UCITS/AIFs), then weighting positions according to the desired risk/return balance. For equities, the qualitative approach (management strategy and quality, growth prospects, competitive position) is complemented by conventional financial analysis, with no sector constraint. For fixed income, the management company favours its own credit analysis over reliance on rating agencies alone; fund selection combines quantitative and qualitative filters.
The fund commits to wide exposure ranges: 0% to 100% in equities of any region and market-cap size, including emerging markets; 0% to 100% in fixed-income instruments of any rating or unrated, with an interest-rate sensitivity between -8 and +8; 0% to 100% in convertible bonds; 0% to 100% in currency risk outside the euro.
